Hello we are Natalie and Brandon or the Enoch’s many of our friends and family that our family had to pursue IVF to help expand our family. This process has been very mentally, emotionally , and financially exhausting. Our fertility journey started back 2019 at our local Lynchburg office when we told we needed to see a fertility specialist. We visited the best of the best in Charlottesville and that is when we heard the words for the first “so we are looking at IVF” those words were shocking but at least there was a plan. We started our process in February 2020 to have my egg removed for fertilization at that procedure we received the news that we would have to weight for our frozen embryo transfer due to COVID-19 and this was consider an elective procedure. We were crushed mainly for the fear of how long we would have to wait. Luckily Charlottesville stayed well masked and the end of April 2020 we started the FET process. Embryo transfer 6/10/2020 and our sweet Sammy was born on 2/24/21. We were lucky my insurance had some coverage and then since fertility are NOT covered at ALL. I luckily was able to borrow from my retirement to help pay for 8k worth of medications needed for this.
This past Monday we found out that we failed our third frozen embryo transfer after having positive blood work. This was absolutely devastating. We have been fortunate enough to have some insurance coverage, utilizing a personal loan, and I received a bonus from work to help pay for the financially draining process this can be. I typically would never ask for help, but trying to funding that is not a loan for regular class people is very difficult. If you feel in your heart to donate we would greatly appreciate you!! These funds will give us one last chance to extend our family as we only have one embryo left in storage after the last 3 failed transfers. Each embryo transfer at our clinic is 4200 dollars out of pocket and that doesn’t include around 1k in medications that are not covered by insurance either. We love you all!! God bless!!
